Musician Character

This character is inspired by Alec Benjamin and the song “Sent My Therapist to Therapy.” I explored the character through gesture drawing, abstract mark making, and realistic sketches, using alternative materials like charcoal and nail polish. I also experimented with lyrical and action painting to express emotion and overthinking in a loose, intuitive way. The final piece becomes a musician's illustration that captures emotional honesty, vulnerability, and quiet dark humor, reflecting the song’s raw and relatable mood.
